Easy Class
This class is very easy too pass, although Moussavi is a bit boring in lectures. He even jokes around about putting people to sleep, he is a cool guy.

Homework is pretty easy, tests are open book and the final is open book, open notes, open old test and everything.

The lab time you have to sign up for is rarely used towards the end of the semester. Labs are an easy 100%.

There is an attendance sheet that is passed around, so you have to go to fill that out.

Easy Course
This class was relatively easy if you kept all your old tests/homework from the intro course. The tests are open book/open notes. He has 3 tests throughout the semester including the final and most of the questions are from the intro tests or directly from examples from last years text. Also, a lot of the homework is exactly the same from last year's homework. However, the tests are almost impossible to complete in the time frame if you didn't keep your old stuff.

This is a design course so we had a design project. Moussavi was very, very vague on his expectations from the beginning to the end. As a class, you need to get him to create some sort of checklist of criteria he is looking for when he grades. I cannot emphasize this enough. He just expects that you know what he is looking for. Fortunately (or unfortunately) we had a student in our class who has been working professionally in roadway design for many years and he helped out a lot.
