He has a moderate accent which at times makes things hard to understand. Most of the time it's okay, but sometimes he spits something out and I have noooo idea what he just said. He's not always good about understanding that not all of us have our doctorate and sometimes cops an attitude when you ask a question or do the smallest thing wrong. Underneath it all though I think he does want to help his students, he's just not always good at actually doing it. The best thing about the class is that what's on the reviews are pretty much exactly what's on the exams, there aren't any surprises. LOTS of memorization however, the tests are all short answer. No multiple choice or anything, you're responsible for knowing it all off the top of your head. He's normally pretty good about having extra lab time before an exam for extra help.

dr. koshy is a very intelligent & a very nice man! he has a great sense of humor; whoever says he's a jerk & degrading is just someone that got yelled at by him b/c he (the student) wasn't paying attention or just isn't smart enough to understand something for the 3rd time! dr. koshy is far from mean & degrading... anyways... yes his accent is soemtimes hard to understand but for the most part (90%) of the time he's pretty easy to understand... he gives you sheets w/ everything you need to know for the tests & as long as you know everything off teh sheets & are really familiar with all teh lab stations, you'll do just fine; i recommend taking pictures of all stations & studying them, but also make sure you use your time wisely & pay attention & study them while you're there... dr. koshy is always available to answer questions... as long as you study pretty well for the tests, you should have nothing to worry about... there are worksheets you have to do, but they're super easy considering you can check your answers before you hand them in.... dr. koshy has taught me a lot & is one of the best teachers ever!!!
