Good Teacher
Homework is two reflection papers and that is it. Attendance and participation are required as part of your grade. There are two tests and a final. Class is interesting, but mostly from the book. Good teacher, maybe a little more difficult than other PSCI-1000 teachers, (by her admission), but this is in no way a difficult class.

Fun, Fun, Test, Test
I've been at UNO for some time and out of all the teachers I have had, Dahl is by far the one who connects with each of her students. Sure the tests are extensive, at times painfully so, but when you study the theories and how to apply them it's fairly easy. She doesn't give out an easy A, for she reserves the A for those who do spectacular on their essay.
The homework is kinda much at times, but if you read it and talk about it you'll be fine. However, sometimes its hard to see what shes looking for...

She generally stays on topic, but sometimes forgets to talk about current events, which are discussed at the end of class. All of her stories are amazing. She studied abroad in China for quite some time and is an 'old China hand' as the saying goes. She even gave a speech at UNO about the 2008 Olympics, amongst many other speeches, and has attended many prestigious seminars. Very knowledgeable about East Asia. Very.

Overall....she may be a bit hard but I HIGHLY recommend her!!
