RELI-1010
Introduction to World Religions

RELI 1010
Your grade consists of four tests and 10 quizzes. The four tests were made up of multiple choice and T/F questions. Quizzes are taken at the beginning of every chapter over the Key Words listed at the end. You take 13 quizzes, but only the top 10 count towards your grade. He offers a make-up project for anyone who is unhappy with one of their test grades. **He only offers this for the first three, so you must sit the final.** However, the final test is not cumulative.

The quizzes inforce attendance, but the lectures are fairly interesting - as far as intro classes go. Also, about 90% of the questions on the test come directly from the lecture. Though a lot of what he says is in the book, much isn't.

Overall, I thought it was interesting and fairly easy to get through, as long as you are prepared to go to class consistently.

Christian Haunton is an amazing professor! he's not biased at all and he teaches the material very well!! i absolutley loved his class! he's very fun and easy to listen to; has great stories; you should definitely google him- it's pretty awesome waht you'll find (even a youtube video w/ a sock puppet! :P) the 4 tests aren't too hard, you definintly need to know your notes; he recommends reading the book, but you really don't have to- i do recommend buying the book b/c sometimes in order to study you had to look certain things up; he'll let you know if there is a certain part from the book that you need to read; there are vocab quizzes for every chapter- very very easy, just matching; no homework; Take haunton- he's flippin awesome!!!!!

Easy Easy Easy
This is probably the easiest class I've taken in my 3 years at UNO. There are 4 tests and an optional final. Attendance is not required but is essential. We had 13 vocab quizzes and almost all the material the tests covered were from the class notes. He was very responsive to student questions, was funny, and kept everything very relaxed. No homework/projects/assignments. Highly recommended. Easy A.
