This guy was ridiculous. Going to class was a waste of time, but he took attendance. A lot of students would just show up as much as 15-30 minutes late because they knew they weren't missing anything. There were homework problems every day, but he never collected them. He just went over the homework problems in class. It is important to know how to do those homework problems when it comes time for the test. Sometimes it's hard to follow what he's showing you in class, so go to the library and ask for Kwak's solutions manual - you can find the solutions to all of the problems in that. All of Prof. Bennett's tests were scaled - he just lumps groups of scores together and assigns grades that way. The class is no better or worse than the other class - just go into it understanding that you won't learn a lot, but it's required for an accounting degree.

Bennett was a nice enough guy, but it was obvious this was his first time teaching in awhile. He did seem to care about the students but the tests were just over too much subject material (8 chapters on the first, 6 on the second, and a cumulative 19 on the final) The tests were hard and required a lot of studying outside class, even then, there was a 15-20% scale.
