Great class
Course is 4 grades: 2 "reaction" papers which can be on anything, just need to relate to class material (2 pages), a midterm, and final. The exams are in a format that you pick 6 things out of a list and explain them and how they're significant. The midterm and final also included a 3-page-maximum essay on a topic chosen from a list of 2 or 3.

Dr. Bacon is a fantastic instructor -- her experience means she knows this material first hand, and can explain it in a way that is accessible to those of us who are not PoliSci majors.

Her lectures are taken nearly verbatim from her notes on Blackboard. Bring them to class, and add to them.
